Over a decade of partnership
Weronika Balewski, flute, and Elizabeth Chladil, piano, are Boston-based musicians who value the conversations between performers, audiences, and students. Active as chamber musicians and instrumental teachers, they founded Marvento Duo in 2013 to collaborate as both performers and teaching artists.
Classical music from the past and present
We believe audiences of any age can and should experience the richness of artistic works. We perform classical music for flute and piano from past centuries as well as music by living composers.
Engaging our audiences
We create ways for each audience to connect with the music. Our performances and workshops create a rich environment inviting personal connections, self-expression, and meaning-making in, around, and through music. Our workshops are experiential and immersive, tailored to each audience.
Asking questions together
Our work as performing and teaching artists is inquiry-based. We foster a natural curiosity about the music and concepts we explore, inviting audiences to join us on a life-long journey in music and the arts.
