Current Projects
Cellist Olivia J.P. Harris joins Marvento Duo to perform George Crumb's Vox Balaenae (Voice of the Whale) in partnership with Music of Reality, an event series pairing musical performances with scientific lectures. In Reef Music, Vox Balaenae is the finale of a program featuring works inspired by and incorporating coral reef recordings, lectures from Boston University marine biologist Sarah Davies, and original poetry by Sabrina Sadique.
